Montessori School at Lilburn is a private preschool located in the scenic city of Lilburn, just a few miles away from the historic Stone Mountain at 1208 Rockbridge Rd. It operates programs for children ages 13 months through 6+ years. Started in the fall of 2009, the school is accredited by the Association Montessori Internationale(AMI). While the school's focus is to provide a rich educational experience, it also provides high quality before and after school care.

Dr. Montessori believed that a child’s full potential – physical, intellectual, and emotional – can be reached only if the child is given the opportunity to develop through the exploration of the environment. The Montessori Method of education is a unique approach to learning. Rather than “teaching” concepts, the environment is designed to stimulate the child's interests and learning capacities spontaneously.
